Diverse Poster Designs That Speak to Social and Cultural Themes
To me each project is a unique journey, from concept to visual. My portfolio reflects a dedication to raising awareness and inspiring thought through imaginative graphics.
Below are a few notable projects to showcase the diverse themes and exhibitions I’ve been part of:
Cheap Festival Fragment/Unity (2018)
Selected for the CHEAP Call for Artists, this poster was exhibited in Bologna and represents the human need to feel connected in an increasingly fragmented world.
Cheap Festival | Sabotage (2019)
Selected for the CHEAP Call for Artists, this poster was exhibited in Bologna. This piece was my visual response to the “Sabotage” theme, advocating action over complacency, pushing forward the message that any positive movement is better than standing still.
Cheap Festival | Reclaim (2020)
Selected for the CHEAP Call for Artists, this poster was exhibited in Bologna. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, this poster centered on reclaiming trust and hope—fragile, yet essential parts of the human experience.
The kids represent the fragility, while their belonging to an ancient time aims to reflect the feeling of distance.
Get Wise
For the Renner Contemporary Art Prize (not selected), this design explores the human journey of survival and growth, representing the mental alertness needed to face the future.
ARCI Gay “A Zero Pregiudizi” Contest
Awarded a jury’s special mention, this poster challenges societal gender stereotypes.
The title is a wordplay: in Italian the word ‘gender’ is the same as Kind.
Lives of any gender/kind*
*If you think you can recognize the gender of the people attached to this arms you are a victim of the stereotypes. Just stop it.
Un Manifesto per Genova
Following the Morandi Bridge tragedy, this poster was created as part of a fundraising effort to support affected families. The design blends Genoa’s warmth with its resilience.
Cottonfioc Festival: Crepe
This poster represents the concept of emptiness and knowledge—how life continuously fills us with experiences that shape our reality.
Creative Explosion | Threefaces Exhibition
This design captures the theme of creativity bursting forth in unpredictable ways, created for the opening of C4 Cultural space in Firenze.
Copula Mundi Festival | Diversity
Created for Copula Mundi 2019, this poster celebrates the diversity in every individual’s life story, calling for respect and understanding beyond surface appearances.
Live Sketching for The Social Hub
During the COVID-19 lockdown, I designed this poster live for an online art and DJ event hosted by The Social Hub, bringing creativity and connection to the online space.
Distracted
This poster is part of a wider personal illustration project.
